HU11 "Capacity Development and Institutional Cooperation Program" has been completed. The ceremonial closing event was held on 23-24 November 2017 in Balatonfüred at Anna Grand Hotel.

The conference was organized by the Prime Minister's Office. dr. Gergő Korponai, the program manager, has opened the closing conference. In his speech, he said that Hungary had successfully closed the HU11 program. Among the festive greetings, a summary of the Ministry was drawn up. by Adrián Savanyú, Head of Department, who presented the operation and results of the entire funding.

Subsequently, Olav Berstad, Ambassador of the Royal Norwegian Embassy, hold a welcome speech and presentation in which he expressed his pleasure that Hungary was able to draw on the funds offered by the EEA Fund and the Norwegian Fund. Then, Elita Cakule, head of department at KS International Projects, welcomed the audience. She also mentioned that she hopes that cooperation will continue successfully and the Funding Mechanism can provide a solid basis for the parties involved.

On Friday, the presentation of bilateral cooperation programs continued by project promoters. The round table discussions- due to lack of time - took place at lunch. Topics were discussed such as: Bilateral Cooperation and Local Government Cooperation, Local Development - Lifelong Learning, Local Development - Elderly Welfare Services.

The conference was closed by Elite Cakule KS International Projects Director and dr. Gergő Korponai, head of the Program Operator, who announced on the future plans that preparations for 2014-2021 funding are underway. Their common goal is to reach an effective agreement between Hungary, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. The ceremonial closing conference was considered successful by several participants from the Hungarian participants, representing the donor countries as well.
